Dr. Hinck has a bachelors degree in Exercise Physiology from CSU, Chico, where he also earned a minor in Health Science and a certificate as an Exercise Science Specialist. He graduated from Life Chiropractic College West in Hayward, CA, where he earned his Doctorate in Chiropractic. Dr. Hinck has worked in the past as a personal trainer and Fitness Manager for 24 Hour Fitness.

Dr. Hinck is quite active in the community. In addition to the associations listed below he has been a volunteer docent for the Pleasanton Home Stroll and the Pleasanton Ghost Walk. He has also volunteered his services for Shepherds Gate in Livermore.

Dr. Hinck is an avid reader of everything from science fiction and high fantasy to mystery and philosophy. He loves to hike when the weather is right and he never loses a chance to play with his daughter Cassidy. He currently resides in San Ramon and, except for a few stints during his schooling, has lived in the area all of his life. As he says "this area is just too nice to leave and, besides, I want my daughter to grow up here!"
